As a writer and director I’m drawn to telling stories from an outsider’s perspective.

We are lucky to be working at a time when our audience is more sophisticated and media literate than ever, and that allows us to use the forms and conventions of films not to fool the audience with devices, but to draw them in and make them complicit with us.

My work across drama, comedy and experimental documentaries has won RTS, Broadcast, and IFTAs amongst other awards.
